My name is David Hamilton Healy, and art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up surrounded by my parents' collection, I was captivated by the weight of heavy paint and the energy of bold brushstrokes — always full of questions, always drawn in.

I've painted all my life, but it was during a period of significant health setbacks that painting became something deeper — my release, my love, my lifeline. When I paint, time dissolves. The world falls away. It was in those quiet, focused moments that I knew this was more than a passion. Sharing my work with the world felt like the only natural next step.

I create contemporary and abstract works — bold, expressive, and deeply rooted in the Australian coastline. My paintings are inspired by the places I've lived and travelled: the Whitsundays, Byron Bay, Bondi, Sorrento, and St Kilda. I travel to the locations I paint, or draw from vivid memories of time spent in these extraordinary places.

Every piece begins as an original — created by hand, with the texture and energy that only comes from paint on canvas. My prints are produced through Gelato, ensuring exceptional quality so the spirit of each original is faithfully brought into your home, wherever you are in the world.
